Pervasive 2006 Student Volunteers:

Overview of Student Volunteers

Submission Deadline: Friday 3rd March 2006 (CLOSED)

Details: PERVASIVE 2006 is calling for students working in pervasive computing, ubiquitous computing and related research fields to apply for student volunteer posts. Approximately 10 students will be given the opportunity to attend the conference with a free registration, conference proceedings/conference bag and lunches provided.

In return, we ask that volunteers be available in Dublin from the afternoon of the 6th of May 2006 until the close of the conference on the 10th May 2006. Duties will include: venue set up, answering questions from delegates, monitoring sessions, ensuring smooth running of the equipment, assisting with registration and running miscellaneous errands. It is expected that volunteers will be on call for about 20 hours in total. The rest of the time will be free for you to attend the conference.

If you would like to apply please send an email with the subject 'Student volunteer application for PERVASIVE 2006' to the volunteers co-chairs Dr Lorcan Coyle and Dr Steve Neely (pervasive2006[dot]volunteers[at]ucd[dot]ie) with a concise biography and explanation of why you would like to attend.

The deadline for applications is midnight (GMT) on Friday 3rd March 2006.
